At midnight UTC. A day you buy runs from 00:00 UTC to 23:59 UTC on that date, wherever you or your visitors happen to be.
The price starts at $15 and rises 10% with every day sold, so the Nth buyer pays $15 x 1.10^N. It is the same price for every open date, and it never comes back down. Buying early is the only way to pay less.
No. The price only moves upward, and it does not drop when a day goes unsold or when demand is quiet. Everyone who has already bought paid less than everyone who buys next, and that stays true permanently.
You bid for it. A date nobody holds is simply bought at the standard price, but once someone holds it the only way in is to stand higher than they do. Bidding on a date closes three hours before that day begins, and whoever stands highest at that moment keeps it.
One dollar more than the highest standing bid on it, or the standard price, whichever is higher. What the holder paid counts as their standing bid, so taking a date always costs more than it cost them.
Pay the difference. Everything you have already paid toward that date still counts, so you only pay the gap needed to stand highest again, as many times as you like until bidding closes. You are never asked to pay a second full price for a date you already hold.
Everything you paid toward it becomes a credit code for the full amount, emailed to you and usable against any other open date. You lose the date, not the money — the credit is worth every cent, so you simply pick another day.
Yes, until three hours before that day begins. Anyone can bid higher for it, and you keep it by paying the difference. After that cut-off the date is settled and cannot change hands. If you do lose it you are emailed straight away, your listing link stops working, and the full amount comes back to you as credit.
Ten minutes. Starting checkout reserves the date at the price you were shown; if payment is not completed in that window the date goes back on sale and the price you were quoted is no longer guaranteed.
Every payment on One Slot is final: a date cannot be refunded, moved to another day or cancelled. The price depends on how many days have sold, so a reversed sale would leave that count wrong for everyone who buys afterwards. If you lose a date to a higher bid you keep the full value as credit, which is why losing one never costs you money.
