One Slot started as a side project. No feed, no algorithm, no fighting for a slice of a page with eleven other advertisers. One business gets the whole thing for a day, and then it is somebody else’s turn.
The first day sold for $15. Every sale lifts the price by ten per cent and it never comes back down. A date that is still free can be bought outright; a date somebody holds can be bid for until three hours before it begins, and an outbid bidder keeps every cent as credit against another day.
There is no second slot, no sidebar and no premium tier that puts two businesses on the same page. The product is the scarcity.
